Actor Sumona Chakravarti, who plays Natasha Kapoor in Sony’s Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, has taken her admiration for dancing diva Madhuri Dixit a bit too far. She has got a custom made smile like the actor. The young newbie approached Dr Suhas Lele, the man behind Madhuri’s pearl smile and got her canines fixed.

“My friends would call me a vampire because my teeth protruded like fangs,” recalls Sumona, adding, “It was my first visit to a dentist. I have to say, though the people I know have had scary experiences, I didn’t have any scary surprises there. The doctor recommended her to push her canines in alignment to get a perfect set of teeth. She adds, “It was a corrective procedure done by laser, without any blood spill. I didn’t even feel him injecting the anesthesia.”

Dr Lele pushed Sumona’s canines in perfect position, giving her a perfect smile like her icon. Sumona, who plays actor Ram Kapoor’s on-screen sister, admits to have had checked up on the dentist before approaching him. She was relieved to know that he had worked on Madhuri Dixit’s teeth in the way back in the past.

“Her smile is undoubtedly worth a million dollars. I love the way she smiles since it not only lights up her face but also spreads joy around.” The actor, who plays a successful and snobbish fashion designer in the show, can’t stop grinning. But she says she’s still waiting for her on-screen ‘bhai’ and ‘bhabhi’ (Sakshi Tanwar) to compliment her.
