Highlight Story

The second season of Kitni Mohabbat Hai has failed to impress viewers. Read on to know what went wrong with the show this time.

Show: Kitni Mohabbat Hai
Station: Imagine
Time: 8 pm
Cast: Kritika Kamra, Karan Kundra

The show’s story sounds like a 1990s romantic Hindi film: She’s from the family of policemen and he’s the son of a famous goon and their idea of love is as similar as chalk and cheese. Yaaaaaaaawn!

Lead actors, Kritika Kamra and Karan Kundra, recreate their off screen chemistry on screen too. But other than that, there’s dearth of almost every ingredient needed for a fun show. She seems too innocent to be true and he tries to be macho and arrogant which doesn’t make the show fun at all.

On the plus side, it’s among those few shows that have returned in a sequel of sorts with a cute looking couple in the lead. The last in general public memory was Kutumb that made Gauri and Hiten Tejwani popular. The actors have improved but can do better.

If treated well, the show may turn into a passionate love story. But if that doesn’t happen real soon, the ‘prem kahani’ will have to be wrapped up really soon.

On flipside, the show lacks speed and a factor that differentiates it from other love stories. They all appear the same.

What we like
The chemistry between the lead couple.

What we don’t like
Their acting skills that still need loads of improvisation.
