In People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive issue, television stars Gurmeet Choudhary, Karan Tacker, Sidharth Shukla and Manish Raisinghania drop their usual good boy image to take up sexier avatars.

In People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive issue, television stars Gurmeet Choudhary, Karan Tacker, Sidharth Shukla and Manish Raisinghania drop their usual good boy image to take up sexier avatars.

Magazine editor Saira Menezes says, “You gauge a sexy man based on his popularity, appeal and accomplishment. We felt it would be interesting to see who had captured the imagination of the audiences on TV.”

Photographer Rohan Shreshtra adds, “It was fun shooting with these good-looking guys. It didn’t take time to shoot them and was over in 15 minutes. I like the fact that besides Bollywood, other industries are being focussed on, as even the readers get to read and know about others sexy people. These guys maintain themselves very well, and even though they don’t shoot as much as Bollywood stars, they are well aware of camera angles.” We ask the stars what they feel comprises their sex appeal.

Karan Tacker
“All my life, I have been an under-confident guy, and wasn’t even able to talk to girls easily. I’m a simple person who gets compliments like ‘cute’ and ‘momma’s boy’. For me, being sexy is not trying too hard. I don’t work too hard on building my body. I am laid back and lost in my own world.”

Gurmeet Choudhary
“Though I wouldn’t myself know, people tell me that my sex appeal lies in my eyes. Also, since school, I have had good biceps. I joined a gym later in life and have been showing them off since I was a teenager.”

Sidharth Shukla
“I don’t consider myself sexy. But it feels good when someone says it. If I really had to pinpoint one thing about me that is sexy, it would perhaps be my physical build. However, for me, the mind is sexier than the body. It depends on your perspective.”

Manish Raisinghania
“I believe that more than your body, it’s your body language which puts you apart. I really don’t consider myself sexy, but I my smile, I feel, is the sexiest thing about me, apart from the whatever it is that others find sexy in me.”
