Uttaran actor Tinaa Dattaa approached for Bigg Boss 11. Here’s how she responded

Uttaran actor Tinaa Dattaa confirms that the reality show has been offered to her, but says she wants to be a part of one more daily soap before participating in Bigg Boss.

Tinaa Dattaa has finally confirmed that the makers of reality show Bigg Boss 11 asked her to come on board. For a while now, there has been buzz that the Uttaran actor will be one of the inmates in the reality show hosted by actor Salman Khan, but she had refrained from commenting.

“Yes I have been offered Bigg Boss this year. But I won’t be doing it this time,” says the actor. When asked why she has rejected the offer, Tinaa adds, “I don’t think I am ready for the show yet. The format this [reality] show follows isn’t my cup of tea.”

Being a fan of Salman, Tinaa says she was in two minds before saying no to Bigg Boss. “I admire him a lot. To tell the truth, it took time for me to decide otherwise. Though I still have time to say yes [to the show] I don’t think I will do it. Also, I want do another show before I enter Bigg Boss,” she adds.

Tinaa is currently in talks for a daily soap. “I can’t talk about it. Talks are on, soon things will get finalised and announcement will be made,” says Tinaa, who is currently busy travelling for events to various parts of India.

Meanwhile, this year, too, commoners and celebrities will rub shoulders in the house. The theme this time is ‘neighbours’ and the promos featuring Salman have been liked by the viewers. Recently, the show was in news for teasing viewers by asking them to guess the contestants, whose pictures they posted on their Twitter page. What went wrong was that they used stock images and not the real photos of the contestants, drawing the ire of viewers who felt fooled.
