Anil Kapoor, who is ready with his maiden TV venture, 24, is set to reach his fans in all corners of India. The show, an adaptation of the popular American show by the same name, also stars Shabana Azmi, Mandira Bedi and Anupam Kher.

Kapoor is keen that the show is seen by viewers even in smaller towns. “Having a fair share of his fan following in small cities and towns, he feels that spreading the word among them would fetch more eyeballs for the show,” says a source close to the actor.

The series has a lot of buzz surrounding it as the genre, thriller, hasn’t been explored much on the small screen. The response to the trailer has also been positive, which has made Kapoor even more optimistic. “He is already inundated by fan mails that express how much they have liked the trailer,” says the source. Overwhelmed by the response, Kapoor says, “It was a heartening experience. The response in small towns as well is fantastic.”
