Watch: The Simpsons ruthlessly mocks Donald Trump’s first 100 days as President
The Simpsons released a new short video online to commemorate Donald Trump’s first 100 years as president.
The Simpsons has been cutting right through the nonsense for decades, and in ‘celebration’ of US president Donald Trump completing his first 100 days in office, they released a new video online on Thursday.
Like a lot of the Simpson’s, it’s both biting and rather dark. It opens with White House press secretary Sean Spicer dangling from a noose, and Trump campaign advisor Kellyanne Conway fleeing the scene. Upstairs, Jared Kushner (Trump’s son-in-law, and John Oliver’s latest target) and Steve Bannon are strangling each other.
In bed, Donald Trump reads a list of his accomplishments - lowering his golf handicap, increasing his Twitter followers, making it legal to shoot hibernating bears. When asked to read up on tax reports, he asks if he can just watch Fox News instead.
The video ends with Homer and Marge taking pills to cope.
Interestingly, The Simpsons has called Fox home for over 28 seasons now.
Like we said. Dark.
