Highlight Story

Most inmates of the past seasons of Bigg Boss are remembered either for their antics or their on-screen affairs.

A few privileged ones make news thanks to their subsequent victory.

However, every season, we also witness a rather curious trend — the winner, who is greeted with much pomp and show post the win — almost always fades out of the industry. So, if you often wonder about their whereabouts, we give you a lowdown on what the last six winners of the reality show have been busy doing all this while.

Rahul Roy

Age: 45

Year: 2006

After a long hiatus, the Aashiqui (1990) actor is now making his Bollywood comeback with psychological thriller, To Be Or Not To Be. "I said ‘yes’ to this film because I was really looking for a strong storyline to make my comeback. I play a mad character," says Roy.

Talking about starting anew, he says, "I’ve realised that I can’t take myself for granted. I’ll strive to regain my respectability and position in the industry. I wish to now play my cards wisely."

Ashutosh Kaushik

Post winning the show, Kaushik, who had also won Roadies 5.0 in 2007, was also seen on a few episodes of various TV shows such as Comedy Circus — Chinchpokli to China and Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, among others.

This small-town guy from Saharanpur was also part of films such as Zila Ghaziabad (2013) and Shortcut Romeo (2013). He is currently shooting for a film called Love Ke Funday, which is a romantic comedy.

The actor, best known for playing Kumkum in the TV show Kumkum — Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan, chose to spend time with her family, post winning the show.

Juhi, who is married to TV actor Sachin Shroff, gave birth to a daughter in January last year. "My daughter Samaira is keeping me completely busy.
