While she has had steady growth in her career, she says she didn’t turn to acting for money or fame. “When I started out, I had no idea what I was doing. I was 16, and acting was a new, exciting thing. So, I took it on. It was an excuse to get away from college,” she says with a laugh.
Krystle got a letter from her college, which excused her from attending classes because she had to act in a TV show. This was incentive enough to get her interested. Krystle says, “I didn’t even know how to speak Hindi or act. I didn’t think about fame and money. I didn’t talk about money with the producers as I was a minor. My parents handled that part. But I am from a family where money was never an issue.”

She adds that she didn’t realise how popular she had become until people started recognizing her on the roads. “Then, it hits you. That’s how I started liking the profession. The child in me wanted to try out new things and do something different,” says Krystle.
The actor has been in the news not just for her looks and sense of style, but also for her personal life. She has been reportedly linked to her EHMMBH co-star Karan Tacker. Ask her how she handles the attention on her personal life, and she says, “I like the speculation. It’s nice to know that people are so interested in my life. But I have never shared anything with the media. I like to keep quiet.”
