Vishal Watwani whose medical drama, Ajeeb, shut down prematurely on 9X, will soon be seen in Monica Mogre Case Files. The actor informs that he will play a reporter and that there’s a possibility of a love angle with Parakh Madan, the lead actress.

Doesn’t he worry about screen time considering that Madan is the protagonist? “Indian television is female chauvinistic,” he grins. The doctor-actor still winces when asked about Ajeeb. “Most actors on the channel are only interested in recovering their dues,” he sighs.

Comeback kid Will he return on Zee TV’s Banoo Main Terri Dulhann? “I’ve been told by you guys that I am expected to make a comeback soon.. but I haven’t been told anything yet by the channel,”he shrugs.

Watwani had also written the script for Dhoom Pichak Dhoom and Bollywood Full and Final, both 9X shows. He has also penned a fiction show for the channel but has no clue what happened to it.

“My dad’s a journalist, that’s why I have a way with words,” he says. Watwani is nurturing Bollywood dreams.. as a writer. He is currently working on two film scripts. One is a masala action thriller while the other is a supernatural comedy.
