Watch | Real life mothers open up like never before
There's no given way of being a mother. There's a certain notion of a “perfect, selfless” mother that has been traditionally handed down to us over centuries where we've internalized the pressures that come with being a mother. We question the existing, highly simplified, universally unchallenged version of the mother figure and the potentially painful loss of self-hood that motherhood entails.
