3rd Intl. Yoga Day celebrated from China’s Great Wall to INS Virat

A group of yoga enthusiasts performed yoga on the Great Wall of China. The event was attended by Minister of State for External Affairs V K Singh. The event was jointly organised by Embassy of India, Beijing Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Yogi Yoga. Security personnel were also not left untouched with yoga fever that has engulfed the world today on the occasion of third International Yoga Day. A number of Navy officials, along with their families, performed yoga asanas atop INS Viraat, the world's oldest aircraft carrier. The mass event was held at the Naval Dockyard in Mumbai. TheIndo-Tibetan Border Police celebrated 3rd International Yoga Day on high altitude in Jammu and Kashmir's Ladakh on Wednesday. Security forces performed yoga with enthusiasm on high- altitude of nearly 18, 000 feet, despite minus 25 degree Celsius temperature.
