Watch | ‘Dolls4Tibet’ helps Dharamshala women earn livelihood
A number of Tibetan and Indian women have found a way of earning livelihood at a doll-making centre established by a German woman, Mona Bookman in Himachal Pradesh's Dharamshala. Bookman, who had migrated here 15 years ago, decided to establish a venture for the needy women of the exiled Tibetan community residing in the hill city. The initiative is named 'Dolls4Tibet.' The demands for the soft toys and other products designed by these women are in demand not only in India but outside the country as well.
