IPL 2017: Can Rising Pune Supergiants get their act together this time?

If you had to pick an individual to be in your dream XI, you are bound to stumble in Rising Pune Supergiants. The team possessing the likes of MS Dhoni, Steve Smith and Ajinkya Rahane is expected to perform well in any season of IPL. But much to everyone's dismay, RPS had a horrible start to their inaugural campaign last year. With MS Dhoni relieved of captaincy duty, his presence with the bat will give the freedom in the middle order that RPS seek. Steve Smith has been in stunning form in the Test season and with the exposure, he has had in India; will be hoping to revive RPS with his captaincy as well. Pune is usually slow and wicket where the street smart cricket of Rajat Bhatia will indeed come into the fray. The biggest buy from the auction was Ben Stokes. Stokes had a memorable India series and with the all-round heroics, he was able to get everyone's attention in the auctions. Adam Zampa is another player Smith would count on. With so much of individual talent, Rising Pune Supergiants would hope that this transcends into team talent in the IPL.
