Vaiko rejects Chouhans appeal says will show black flag to Rajapaksa

The forthcoming informal visit of Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa to Sanchi in Madhya Pradesh is facing steep resistance from MDMK. Rejecting MP chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's appeal, MDMK leader Vaiko Gopalaswamy has said that he will go ahead with his planned black flag demonstration against the President. Vaiko said he had written a letter to Chauhan urging him not to invite Rajapaksa. Meanwhile, Shivraj Singh Chouhan has again urged the people to maintain calm and refrain from organizing any protest rallies ahead of the Sri Lankan President's visit.
