22-year-old man shot dead in Canada

A 23-year-old man, who has roots in Chand Purana village here, was shot dead by unidentified people in Abbotsford city of Canada on Monday. The deceased identified as Satkar Singh Sidhu was born and brought in Canada and was into the business of installing close circuit television (CCTV) cameras.

Satkar is survived by father Baldev Singh, mother and younger brother Balkar Singh. As per the information, Baldev and his wife had migrated to Canada in the 1990s. He reportedly works in a mill there.
