Football star David Beckham proved a hit with Italian socialites at a charity event in Milan where he was the guest of honour.
Beckham's table was the centre of attention as women lined up to introduce themselves to the international heartthrob, reported the Daily Mail

Italian socialite Gabriella Dompe seemed particularly pleased to meet him as she took home a Beckham shirt at the fundraiser after placing the highest bid.
The Italian beauty promptly threw her arms around the tuxedo-clad star as he welcomed her onstage to hand her the prize. The British sportsman was not complaining, as he seemed to enjoy the attention.
Beckham's wife, pop singer-turned-fashion designer, Victoria Beckham had returned to Los Angeles, after visiting him last week.
The couple had earlier mutually decided that David will stay in Europe to further his football career with AC Milan and Victoria will stay in Los Angeles with the couple's three children so that their schooling is not interrupted.
