Mitt Romney clinched the Republican presidential nomination Tuesday night, winning the Texas primary and picking up enough delegates to cross the 1,144 mark. With every opponent out of the race now, Romney is simply rolling through the primaries winning delegates and securing the
nomination.

Sadanand Dhume of the American Enterprise Institute, a conservative US think tank, said: “Conservatives (Republicans) pay more attention to India than liberals (Democrats).”
