Seventeen soldiers were killed Sunday in two bomb attacks on army vehicles in Pakistan, reports said.
A powerful roadside bomb exploded after 2 p.m. when a military convoy was on its way from Razmak to Miranshah in the restive North Waziristan, killing 14 soldiers and wounding 21, Xinhua
reported.
The second blast took place about an hour later when another army convoy was hit by a remote-controlled bomb in Shabqadar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, killing three soldiers.
A third army vehicle hit a landmine in Mohmand Agency, another tribal area.
