Woman dead in dumb waiter

A Japanese restaurant worker died early on Monday in an accident involving a dumb waiter - a small elevator for carrying food and plates from one floor to another in a restaurant - police said. The circumstances of 28-year-old woman's death were unclear police said.
This
happens a month after a hotel cleaner in Tokyo was crushed to death when she stepped into a moving lift. The machinery involved in the accident is of Japanese make.
