Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal keeps the guessing game going. In an interview on Sunday he did not rule out running for Vice President as forcefully as he has a bid for the top job.
“I’m not going to turn down something that’s not been offered,” Jindal said. “I’m not running for vice president. My only political aspiration is to be re-elected governor for a second term.”
Jindal has rekindled talk of a bid for the presidency while promoting his new book “Leadership and Crisis”, which many have said positions the Republican governor as a national leader.
But Jindal has denied he is interested. His stock answer has been that he is more interested in getting a second term as governor.
