Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor will be a “game changer” in the region.

Sharif, addressing PML-N party workers’ convention in Sindh province’s Hyderabad city, said the $ 48 billion CPEC will bring prosperity and development in the country.

He said the project, which passes through the Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, will provide employment opportunities to the youth.

“It will prove as a game changer in the region,” he said.

He said Pakistan is “changing” due to government’s efforts.

On terrorism, he said, the government is committed to root out the menace and all out efforts are being made in this regard, the Radio Pakistan reported.

“The back of terrorists has been broken and peace has been restored in Karachi, Balochistan and other parts of the country,” he said.
