The desi influence on the US presidential elections is growing bigger and bigger. After the slew of  Indian fundraisers in the Obama camp, it’s now the NRI team of Printfection — a firm offering funky political tees and totes — that is grabbing all the attention in America.

Printfection has kitschy images of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton morphed on a Radha-Krishna image and captioned Hare Bama. Obviously, there’s no doubt that Obama is Krishna and Hillary is Radha.

The entrepreneurs are selling the Hare Bama tees online through the Printfection site and the tees are flying off the shelf, reportedly. The range includes hooded and crew neck sweatshirts, cap sleeve T-shirts, ringer T-shirts and baseball jerseys printed with the Hare Bama image, for men, women and kids. There’s also a Hare Bama jumbo tote bag. Priced between $25 and $32, they aren’t exactly cheap, but that does not seem to be deterring anyone.
