Jade Goody, thrown out of Britain’s Big Brother television show after bullying Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty last year, is to take part in the Indian version of the show because she wants to clear her name, a newspaper reported on Thursday.

“Jade wasn’t sure when she was first approached because she was worried about how the Indian housemates and public might react,” the Sun quoted an unnamed source as saying.

The British celebrity is reportedly being paid £100,000 for the show and has told her family she could be away for three months. The show, called Bigg Boss, will be fronted by Shetty.
