In what would count as one of the most unusual weddings, two people who have both gone through a sex change operation are all set to tie the knot.
Felix Laws and Helen Morfitt, who have 10 children between them from their previous four marriages, admitted that people stare at them on the
streets but they can't wait to tie the knot.
Morfitt, 56, who was born a boy called Leslie and Laws, 46, was born a girl called Katy will marry for the first time after getting their sex altered, the Mirror reported.
Morfitt, who at 5ft 8in towers over 5ft 1in Laws, explained that it might seem a bit strange to people on the outside but as far as they are concerned they are just like any other man and woman in love.
She further added that they have been through a lot over the years and had tough times transitioning from one sex to another, but they have now found each other and that's all that matters to them.
The couple plans to elope to Gretna Green on September 13, which was the date of their gender change op, albeit seven years apart.
Laws has planned to wear a kilt for his nuptials, while Morfitt will be fulfilling her childhood dream and donning a red and black Gothic dress as she had always wanted to.
