Still no clarity on Pakistan 26/11 trials

There is still little clarity on the case that is being pursued in Pakistan against some of those accused of planning and executing the Mumbai attacks. Last week, intelligence officials testified that they had proof that the accused were involved in the planning of the attacks from various cities
and towns of Pakistan.

The trial of the seven Islamist militants charged with executing the Mumbai attacks, including LeT operational commander Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi has been stalled for over a year.

Many also questioned whether the hanging of Kasab will put pressure on the Pakistan government to hang Sarabjit Singh, an Indian national currently in jail in Lahore, and accused of terror activities.
