The Yugoslav war crimes court on Thursday dropped one of two genocide charges against Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic for his part in Bosnia's bloody 1992-95 war.

The dropped charge relates to genocide committed by Bosnian Serb forces in the country's municipalities.

Karadzic still faces another genocide charge for the Srebrenica massacre in 1995, as well as nine other charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity.
