In a weather forecast gone hilariously wrong, Irish channel TV3’s Derick Hartigan and his umbrella get blown away by a strong gust of wind.
In a weather forecast gone hilariously wrong, Irish channel TV3’s Derick Hartigan was blown away by a strong gust of wind.
The broadcast starts with the weatherman saying how it wasn’t a good start to the day weather-wise. “It’s wet and it’s pretty windy out there and that’s the picture we’re painting right across the weekend.” The next instant sees him and his umbrella being whipped off the screen with a loud ‘whoooops’ from Hartigan.
The video here cuts to the show anchors doubling up with laughter before returning to Hartigan who tries to fix his umbrella, with the camera still rolling.
Who said being a weatherman on live TV isn’t a dangerous job?
Bloopers on live television are not new. In April this year, ABC News 24 presenter Natasha Exelby was seen fiddling with her pen while the cameras were rolling. Her shocked reaction got the internet laughing.
