At least 14 people were killed in a road accident in southwest Pakistan on Friday, TV channels report.

The accident took place when a truck carrying security personnel collided with a passenger van, near Qila Saifullah, a small town in Balochistan province, the Geo TV channel reported.

The collision destroyed the van, leaving 14 passengers dead. Several security personnel were also injured, according to the report.
