Airline officials say, a Cathay Pacific flight from Indonesia has made an emergency landing in Hong Kong, and five passengers have been injured.
The airline said, in a statement that the Airbus A330, which originated in Surabaya, Indonesia, safely touched down at Hong Kong International Airport on Tuesday afternoon. The 14 crew members and 309 passengers were evacuated as a precaution.
Cathay Pacific spokesman Thomas Lau said, it wasn't immediately clear what prompted the emergency landing.
Lau said five passengers were hospitalized but that their injuries were not life-threatening.
