8-month-old Mendoza tips scales at 20kg, docs prescribe diet

Colombia's eight-month-old Santiago Mendoza weighs 20 kg — a bodyweight normally associated with children much older.

His doctors have prescribed a diet schedule for him following health concerns.

His therapist Salvador Palacios said, "We have advised a complete diet, his health will be monitored 24/7."

Mendoza and his mother Eunice Fandino go to a clinic for the obese in Bogota, Colombia.
