Iran's president is calling for US leaders to be "buried" in response to threats of military attack over Tehran's nuclear program.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is known for brash rhetoric in addressing the West, but in a speech on Sunday he used a deeply offensive insult in calling for an undertaker to bury US leaders.
The hard-line president again questioned who was behind the Sept. 11 attacks in the US and said they gave Washington a pretext for seeking to dominate the region and plunder its oil wealth. Ahmadinejad recently returned from a visit to the US to attend the UN General Assembly.
While in New York, he said most of the world's people believe the US was behind 9/11, drawing a strong rebuke from President Barack Obama.
