A British court on Thursday ruled that WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange can be extradited to Sweden to face sexual assault allegations.

Delivering the verdict, judge Howard Riddle said, “I must order that Mr Assange be extradited to Sweden.” Assange, who denies the allegations, will appeal against the ruling, delivered following a hearing two weeks ago. He was arrested on December 7 under a European arrest warrant, and spent nine days in prison before being getting bail.
