Istanbul has begun cleaning up following floods that drowned at least 20 people.
Earthmovers on Thursday began lifting debris at a truck parking lot where 13 drivers drowned. Authorities said they may recover more bodies there as they clear up.
The threat of floods continues with weather authorities predicted more heavy rains in the city on Friday and Saturday. The heaviest rainfall in at least eight decades sent flash floods barreling across a major highway and a business district on Wednesday, trapping factory workers and truck drivers in their vehicles.
The overall death toll in floods this week across northwestern Turkey is 31.
