The husband of slain Pakistan opposition leader Benazir Bhutto on Sunday stopped questions from reporters directed at the couple's son, who has taken over as chairman of her party.

As a throng of media shouted to pose questions to the 19-year-old Bilawal, Asif Ali Zardari refused to let him take any more queries.

"He may be our chairman but he is my son, and he is at a tender age," said Zardari. "We are all in mourning."
