London: James Bond's promiscuity could have caused lasting damage to Bond girls, a high court judge in the UK has said while ruling over a compensation case brought by women who unwittingly had relationships with police spies.
Bird droppings take form of music notes
London: A piece of music that was composed by waiting for bird droppings to fall onto giant sheets of manuscript paper will be receiving its premiere later.
Artist Kerry Morrison laid manuscript sheets on the ground in Liverpool parks and let birds deposit their droppings, while composer Jon Hering transformed the bum notes into a full musical score.
Morrison said the 20-minute Bird Sheet Music, to be performed at the Tate Liverpool art gallery, represented the role birds play in the environment. ANI
Drew Barrymore baby-proofs home
London: Actress Drew Barrymore is protective of baby daughter Olive and has reportedly spent $80,000 baby-proofing her home.
The 50 First Dates star, who became a mother for the first time three months ago is determined to protect the tot as much as possible and wants to make sure there's nothing in her home that can harm her. She is being overprotective to the next level, a source said.
Barrymore, who married husband Will Kopelman when she was pregnant with Olive, has had baby monitors installed in every room, pointy edges around the house softened and all the electrical sockets raised.
Friends say the actress, who was in rehab by the time she was 13, wants Olive to have the safe and secure upbringing she never had."She'll do everything it takes to keep Olive safe because no one did that for her when she was a kid," the source added. PTI

London: A teenager, who was branded lazy for nodding off in class, suffers from a rare brain disorder that causes her to sleep for weeks at a time.
Shannon Magee could easily be written off as just another idle teenager, but the 17-year-old suffers from one of the world's most bizarre medical conditions.
Kleine-Levin syndrome, or KLS, has seen her flunk exams and snooze through numerous birthdays and even miss an entire Christmas.
Magee, who once ended up snoring her way through a romantic date, also displays strange behaviour before her lengthy slumber. ANI
