"Everything in due time", is what US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told reporters when she was asked about how the Obama Administration plans to improve the relationship between India and Pakistan.
Unusually for Clinton and surprising to many journalists, she skipped the question on Indo-Pak relations, with just a smile and four words - everything in due time - without explaining what she meant by this.
"The administration has recognised that a big part of the problem for Pakistan in its fight against the Taliban is that it remains militarily focused on its traditional enemy, India. What, if anything -- or why isn't the administration taking greater action to help to normalize, improve relations between India and Pakistan?" was the question posed to Clinton.
Recently, appearing before a Congressional committee, Clinton had said that she is waiting for the Indian election to be over, so that the administration can start working in this regard with the new government in New Delhi.
