At least 10 people were killed and four injured when a fire broke out at a nightclub in Moscow early on Sunday.

At least 10 people were killed and four injured when a fire broke out at a nightclub in Moscow early on Sunday, officials said.

The fire, which started at 3.10 am local time (00:10 GMT), spread to around 100 square metres. It was put out by 4.30 am (0140 GMT). The cause of the blaze is being investigated.

On Tuesday, a fire had broken out in a nursing home in southern Russia's Krasnodar, killing 63 people.
