First lady Laura Bush has sealed a deal to publish her memoir.
The publishing house Scribner said in a statement Monday that the book will provide an intimate account of the first lady's eight years in the White House, and will reveal her recollections of personal and historical moments.
The memoir is expected to be published in 2010. Bush was represented by Washington attorney Robert Barnett, whose many clients include former President Bill Clinton, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and Sen. Edward Kennedy.
Scribner is a division of Simon & Schuster Inc., a part of CBS Corp.
