Five Indian workers were killed when the chimney of a brick kiln exploded in Sunsari district of Nepal on Monday.

Three of the dead were from West Bengal and two from Bihar. The area where the incident occurred borders India.

Nearly 60 workers were injured by the blast. Local reports said the chimney had cracked during the April earthquake and was being used after repairs.
