At least five persons were killed and as many injured in an explosion at a security check post in Pakistan’s restive North West Frontier Province on Saturday.
Initial reports suggested that the check post in Doaba area of Hangu district might have been targeted by a suicide car bomber, TV news channels reported.
Witnesses were quoted as saying that five persons were killed and as many injured. Security forces cordoned off the area after the powerful blast. There was no official word on the incident. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
