Four militants were arrested while four rebels blew themselves up at the key Pakistani naval airbase they stormed Karachi on Sunday night, a media report said on Monday.
Geo News said that four militants, who were arrested, had camouflaged themselves in dark outfits.
Fierce gunfights raged overnight as terrorists stormed PNS Mehran, destroyed two surveillance aircraft and left five personnel dead. The guerrillas, who were still inside on Monday morning, have also reportedly taken hostages.
The rebels entered the naval facility and launched a massive attack on Sunday night at about 10.30pm.
