French officials say bomb squads have defused three explosive devices planted at tourist sites in France's southwest Basque country.
The prefecture in the Pyrenees Atlantiques region says the discoveries followed an anonymous phone call in the early hours on Friday.
The prefecture says experts have defused one device at a vacation village in Arcangues and another on a train line in the town of Ondres. Bomb squads are still working on a device found at Arcangues' tourism office.
About 1,200 people were evacuated from various tourist sites in the region following the phone call. There has been no immediate claim of responsibility.
