Of course, the comparison is not fair because McDonald's Hamburger U is not a real University; it is a training programme and these stats are valid only in China.
Bloomberg reports that more than 26% of China's graduates are unemployed. This is the Hamburger University's attempt to tap that pool of untapped talent.
“We’ll make sure the people pipeline is ready,” the head of the 16,846-square-foot facility told Bloomberg.
Interestingly, parents are also open to this alternate career path.
“Now my father has stopped trying to persuade me to work in banking,” says one happy woman.
