A British auction house says a signed copy of Adolf Hitler's infamous manifesto Mein Kampf is going under the hammer. Mullock's Auctioneers says the semi-autobiographical book will be auctioned on Thursday in Ludlow, 124 miles (200 kilometers) northwest of London.
Also up for sale will be a 1926 self-portrait of Hitler and a drawing by Queen Victoria.
Richard Westwood-Brookes from Mullock's Auctioneers says the book is expected to fetch 25,000 pounds ($41,500). It is believed to be a pre-publication copy given by Hitler to a fellow inmate in 1925 during his four-year prison term in Bavaria.
Mein Kampf outlines Hitler's anti-Semitic ideology. It was written in 1924 and has been banned from publication in Germany since World War II.
