More than 600 British soldiers returning from Afghanistan are marching through southern England's Winchester in a homecoming parade.
Crowds of supporters lining both sides of the streets applauded and cheered as the troops from 11 Light Brigade passed by,accompanied by three marching bands.
Sixty-four soldiers from the brigade were killed in action in Afghanistan.
Wednesday's ceremony was the largest of its kind. It was meant to commemorate the brigade's sacrifices.
The soldiers will later be inspected by Camilla, the wife of Prince Charles. A thanksgiving service will be held, and the brigade will be disbanded.
