Oscar Pistorius, the man who was once a celebrated Olympic and Paralympic athlete, returned to the court on Thursday to hear his fate being meted out by the judicial system. Pistorius went on trail in mid- February last year after he was charged with the murder of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp in the early hours of Valentine’s Day.

The judge in the murder trail, Judge Thokozile Masipa, cleared Oscar Pistorius of the murder charges and said he was found not guilty of murder of his girlfriend. The following images capture the various moments from his Judgment Day.
