An Indian-origin businessman was crushed to death by a truck as he fought a gang of robbers on the streets of London.

He was pushed on to the road during the scuffle and run over by the truck.
Scotland Yard launched a murder investigation into the death of the 44-year-old?father of two, whose wife Deepa suffered minor injuries during the attack.
Atwal's uncle Tarsem Singh told the Evening Standard: "He worked very, very hard and rest of the time was spent with his family or at the Sikh temple. He was a wonderful father."
The gang was described as white and the Metropolitan Police appealed for witnesses to come forward.
