At least 14 people have been killed and more than 60 injured in a tornado that hit Indonesia this week, the government said Sunday.
More than 2,000 houses were damaged by the tornado, Xinhua reported.
Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, head of public relations at the National Agency for Disaster Management, said 35 regions in the main islands of Java and Bali were hit by the tornado since Wednesday.
He said the tornado was caused by tropical cyclone Iggy. However, Iggy was weakening and leaving Indonesian waters, he said.
