Russian look-alike of Michael Jackson attempted suicide by slitting his wrists following reports of the King of Pop’s death.

Pavel Talalayev, who was rescued by doctors said he was “unable to handle the pain of the loss”.

“I started receiving calls from other fans, I tried to calm them down and then let myself go,” Life.ru website reported quoting him.

Hospitalised after a heart attack following the suicide attempt, Talalayev said he considered Jackson, whom he met in person only once, as his second half.

“I don’t know why the doctors saved me. I want to be with Michael, and I will kill myself anyway,” he said.

It took Talalayev fifteen years to look like his ideal. He had several plastic surgeries, bought Jackson’s stage costumes and spent hours rehearsing the dances he copied from Jackson’s shows, according to Mosnews website.
