Jhangvi denies hand in Afghan blast

Pakistani militant group Lashkar-e-Jhangvi al-Alami (LJA) has denied any kind of involvement in the Kabul suicide attack, and instead condemned the carnage.

Pakistani militant group Lashkar-e-Jhangvi al-Alami (LJA) has denied any kind of involvement in the Kabul suicide attack, and instead condemned the carnage.

At least 55 people were killed in the attack outside a shrine in Kabul.

A person, who claimed to be a representative of the LJA, told The Dawn newspaper over phone that enemies of Pakistan and Afghanistan were behind the bloodshed.

Earlier, a man claiming to be a spokesperson for the LJA had called the media claiming responsibility for the attact.
